What Is Up With America?

First… something with a little humor to listen to before I talk about the end of the rule of law (Released on: 2022-10-07).

Oh When the Feds

This will look like just random thoughts and rambling here and there. First off, I am not a republican or democrat. I will not sign on to a party because I believe in voting for the person not a party. I like to call myself a proud NoneOfTheAboveLican aka an Independent. Having said that, the GOP have been nothing but clowns since they sabotaged John McCain by putting Sarah Palin on the ticket with him. I would have been fine with John as the president but would never have voted for that ticket. I proudly voted for Obama both times (yep, I was one of the 47%). The only regret I have about his presidency is that he trusted and tried to work with the racist hateful GOP. He should have went full steam ahead and kicked them to the curb.

Where you grow up and where you live makes a major impact to who you become. I am an military “brat” and attended schools in Fort Campbell KY. Diversity was normal during my growing up. One of my least favorite memories are seeing Klan rallies being held at the local Kroger or Piggly Wiggly. The military police had to escort our football team and band buses because the locals would throw bottles at our buses because we were an integrated school. I like to believe it was because we would kick their butts on the field. Here is a little more about the Fort Campbell Falcons.

The origin of the Blue and Gray

  • A new school, a diverse student body: When FCHS opened in 1962, the student population was composed of children from military families, representing every region of the country.
  • Symbolic choice: Rather than picking traditional school colors, the students voted to use the colors of the Civil War—blue for the Union and gray for the Confederacy—to symbolize a unified student body.
  • Meaning of the colors: The choice reflected the unique experience of being a military “brat,” bringing together students from all over the United States and creating a new community at the school.
  • Legacy of unification: The decision to use the Blue and Gray remains a point of pride for FCHS alumni, representing a history of bringing people together regardless of their backgrounds.

Okay… where am I going with this?

My background is growing up going to church, Sunday school, Youth Group, and Boy Scouts. I believe we are all created equal and no one is above the law. I know diversity makes up stronger and enriches our lives. I also know that if one of us is above the law we no longer are a nation of laws. The MAGA supreme court justices put Trump above the law. Now we must resist and fight his fascism. Start here!

So, about “Oh When The Feds”… it was written when I believed we are a nation of laws and criminals are held to account. Like, before Bubbas would drive around with “I’m voting for the felon” ($7 on Amazon) on their pick ’em up trucks. Like, before people would shout “we love Trump” like those degenerates that want to marry serial killers LOL!

I have never loved a candidate but have agreed with their policies and appreciated their leadership. Again, since Sarah Palin the GOP have been hateful racist buffoons. The last republican I voted for was Kim Wyman(Secretary of State). She was picked by Biden to work on election security. Yes, you read that right, Biden hired a republican.

Oh, back to making a point. Trump should have been disqualified from running for election because he violated his oath and caused an insurrection on Jan 6th. The MAGA republican justices should have moved for his removal from the list of eligible candidates. He is an unpunished convicted felon because he ran for election and won. He was convicted of 34 felonies. He does not represent my values. If he represents your values, you don’t have any morals. I haven’t even brought up the Epstein files or the extrajudicial murder of alleged drug traffickers. He thinks all he has to do is label a group of people terrorists and have them murdered. They are murdered by soldiers violated their oath to the constitution. They swore allegiance to the country not the felon.
