Here’s a little more on the story behind “Oh When The Feds”. Again, written when we were a nation of laws and no one was (openly at least) above the law. There is no way I could draw the political cartoons that come to mind. All my drawings and hand writings look like a caveman or toddler scribblings. The best I can do are stick figures and even they come out abstract. So, to amuse myself I write music. Most of the music is instrumental only because I am not a fan of my own singing. In the rare occasion I do sing it is almost always a parody. I did sing “Money for Nothing” and “Walk of Life” professionally with “Ragged Edge”. This was a bar band that played around the Puget Sound area.
The tune behind “Oh When the Feds” is “Oh When the Saints Come Marching In”. The idea came to mind because I naively thought the insurrectionist and document thief would finally be prosecuted. I had no idea the DOJ would put him above the law in their attempt to seem fair. Justice was never served so I forgot about the little tune. The song remains a quick acoustic draft version.
I am putting this page together because it is going to be posted on Facebook. For years all I would do on Facebook was send birthday greetings and maybe like something that popped up on my feed. No doom scrolling for me. Then came the 2024 election and all the hate and misinformation that is the GOP, MAGA, Fox News, etc… I had had enough when those still supporting the orange abomination started excusing the Epstein files. Then came the whole Antifa nonsense. Soon after the “No Kings” protesters are those who hate America. That was it, I won’t accused to this by the very inept boot licking idiots hell bent on ending our democracy let alone ending due process and any respect for real Americans. You can always count on the GOP to call others exactly what they are. Now the idiot wants to test nuclear weapons and the inept boot licking idiots still remain silent.
Those of us who love America, free speech and freedom need to make sure the oligarch’s ballroom is always referred to as the “Epstein Ballroom” or “No Balls GOP Room”.
